Rookwood team shop with friendly staff and a rack of Reds and Bengals caps.
I came into Rally House in Hyde Park this Saturday, around 10:30 AM. I was running late and needed something for my 10- and 11-year-old nephews. The manager was able to take me to the junior section, get me the exact size hats for the Reds game and the newest Cincinnati Connect emblem. I was the total "cool Aunt"!
I came in to purchase a couple of T-shirts for young nephew eight years old, and the young guy, young man that helped me was was very helpful very personable. He made weaving my way through the store easy and was very helpful when he said that the majority of your T-shirts are all cotton, which is a big deal so I’m sorry I don’t know his name. But thank you
The one star is for the young cashier who helped us look for the polo shirt size we needed and engaged in friendly conversation while we were checking out. Unfortunately, an older Caucasian employee, who appeared to be in his 40s or 50s, interrupted our conversation and made an assumption about our background by asking whether people from where we're from speak English because it's "helpful here in Ohio." Since he had been listening to our conversation, it should have been clear that we were already speaking English. I found the comment culturally insensitive and unnecessary, which left a negative impression of our experience.
Went to Rally House today and Menlia acted almost like my personal shopper. She was so helpful and fun. Nothing I asked was too much. Helped me find presents for 2 of my dearest friends and family. Was the nicest experience I have had in a store in so long. She is such a treasure! 😊
Thanks so much!
Jocelyn and Ben were great help in finding exactly what we needed. They were efficient and courteous as they helped us around the store. They made us feel welcome as valued customers. We can't recommend this location of Rally House highly enough. We found all of our Reds gear, as well as Savannah Bananans logo wear.
