Locker Room by Lids at Beachwood Place is the east side’s main option, and the reviews mostly come down to who’s working. Get the right person and they’ll spend real time helping you build a custom design for your cap.
It also carries basketball throwback apparel and a decent jersey selection, which tells you the store leans general sports more than fitted specialist. Good for a Guardians cap, a gift, or a custom piece. Less good if you’re hunting something rare.
I walked in the store no one greeted me. I walked around to look at jerseys no one asked if they could help. I stood in the middle on the floor no one said anything. I buy a jersey every year for my birthday with the year on it, I was on the phone with my husband whose at work so he can help me pick one because I'm not real familiar with all players. As I was walking out because I was ignored I was telling my husband no one is helping me so I guess I'll leave one of the guys that worked there FINALLY uttered a word and said no one helped you because you were on the phone. I didn't know you don't get help because you're on the phone, I didn't know this was a rule. I'm already nervous and feel awkward because no one said anything but as soon I mentioned I was leaving I was given an invalid reason as to why they wouldn't help me! This made me feel so horrible and embarrassed
Used to go every day basically has a great inventory and great deals with an amazing staff. I recommend it to everyone and I'll be returning when I go back to Cleveland only place I get my sports wear.
My experience was great. Lil Dom went to great lengths to help me. I’m really indecisive and he was very patient with me and helped me pick a nice design for my hat and I absolutely LOVE it!!!

I visited this place on December 1st 2023 and purchased some nice t-shirts of Penny Hardaway & Dennis Rodman. They have plenty of team merchandise and apparel to choose from. The employees were very cool also as we were talking basketball knowledge. I will return there to get some more apparel. Facts !
4 stars only because I really wanted a plain, black, Nike visor and 3 Lids didn't have them. However, they were very nice.
